After college, Teddy had a distinguished career of nearly 15 years in Law Enforcement. He worked in every aspect of law enforcement to include narcotics, investigations, patrol, special weapons operator and defensive tactics / hand to hand combat instructor. He received numerous decorations to include 2002 officer of the year and left law enforcement as a Deputy Chief of Police.

At 35 years old, Teddy Daniels enlisted into the U.S. Army as an Active Duty Infantryman. He was stationed at Ft. Carson in Colorado, and was cross-trained in military intelligence and ISR – Intelligence, Surveillance and Recon. At 37 years old, he was deployed as a team leader to Kunar Province, Afghanistan where he was shot multiple times in a gunfight. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge.

Teddy Daniels is a dedicated support of President Donald J. Trump who worked on Trump’s campaign leadership team in South Carolina for the 2016 primary election. He proudly supported the President's re-election efforts in 2020 and 2024, and gifted his Purple Heart to the President in Bedminster. Teddy Daniels is a proud son of hardworking, blue-collar parents—his mother a textile mill worker and his father a brick and stone mason. Raised with grit and determination, Teddy earned an athletic and leadership scholarship to Valley Forge Military Academy, where he excelled as a Dean’s List scholar, two-year football team captain, Football MVP, Athlete of the Year, and High School Football All-American. He graduated as the most outstanding leader in the Corps of Cadets.
